Pod additives?

I have read that if you want a Mandarin, you really need a refugium box to keep your pod supply high enough, or your Mandarin will slowly starve. I could be wrong, so please, anyone, correct me if I am!
yeah, i've heard that too.... but i'm wondering if it's plausible to keep one, while reguarlly supplying the tank with pods... but like how often and how many?

I have heard that mandarins will deplete a HUGE pod population extremely quickly.

if i was you i would probably get like a small tub of some sort and throw in some rock rubble and sand and put the pods in there. how to get them out and into your display tank im not sure :thinking: but it will be kinda be like keeping a fuge :notsure: . just trying to brain storm for you guys

keep buying the bottled pods and he will live till he dies :notsure:. ***) ..... or till something eats it. yeah you get the point
