Pod Piles!

How do you build pod piles in the tank?? I want to increase my pod population! :notsure:

Place live rock rubble in piles behind your main rock.

I also heard that people put shrimp in between the rock! Is this a good idea and how long can you leave the shrimp there?? Also what exactly do the shrimp do?

Feed the pods. Don't do that unless you have a WELL established biofilter. IE, mature live rock. The pods get enough to eat, you just need to give them a place to hide and grow without getting eaten by your fish.

Some people suggest covering the pile of rocks with something like a strawberry basket - this way fish and shrimp can't get in there and eat the pods!
