Pod question

My tank is 6 weeks old no fish yet. I have literally hundreds of these 1/8" to 1/4" transparent "bugs" all over my sand and live rock. Could these "bugs" be some type of pod or are they something else, and are they good or bad? Sorry to small for a picture. Thanks in advance for your replies.

they are pods but will disaper once you have fish unless you have a fuge, and yes they are great for your tank
