I currently have a 10 gallon fuge with Pods in there. I recently added 4 blue legged hermit crabs to the fuge. Will the crabs eat the Pods and should the crabs be removed? Thanx.
Pod question?

Hmmmmmmmmmm...........Most hermit crabs, being scavengers, will pick up just about anything ediable. I have never witnessed my blue legged hc's eating any pods in my tanks, but I'm quite certain they wouldn't hesitate to scarf down any pods that come to close. Personally I wouldn't worry about it.

if they can catch the pods they'll eat them, its normally best to run a fuge without any crabs/snails

Thanx for the info reefers. ?, how would snails effect the pods. I have some in there to keep the glass and the SB clean.
