IMO the best (cheapest) way is to get a nice handful of Chaeto and wedge it between some rocks and dump a bag of pods into it at night and they will reproduce right in your display. I done this before I got my refugium and it works great. It cost under $20 for the Chaeto and bag of pods. Lol..

i tryed that way in both tanks the problem is that we both have tangs that love to eat the cheato. my foxface also really seeems to like eating the cheato to so it went quickly. still working on the 5.5 pod tank probly getting the items i need this weekend.
