Pods in LFS water

I bought a crab at my LFS and when I went to acclimate it, I saw that the water it came in had white pods swimming around. Normally I would throw out the water, but I didn't know if I should dump it in my tank or figure a way to get some of the pods out without putting the water in my tank. Pods are good, right?

Pods are good and over time they will reproduce in your tank. I was always told never to add the water you get your livestock in to your tank.
