Lights went out tonight and i finally seen my emerald crab hanging out on the sand. So i go grab my camera and flip the light on to get a nice shot of him and BAMM! The pods are EVERYWHERE!!!!
I have some that just crawl on the glass and i have ALOT and i mean ALOT flyin all over the place. They shoot off the glass and then land somewhere else. Its cool to watch. What kind of pods are they?

HEHE....
My woman(who has great eyesight like myself apparently) freaked OUT when she saw all the pods swimming on the glass and in/out of the LS bed.
I love this Hobby and have no idea why I ever got out. While I never have time for either(LOL), I have 900 movie channels and haven't watch ANY tv/movies since I've setup the tank 2+ months ago.

Possibly, it might also be a sign that you have high nitrates and plenty of excess waste around. Just something you might want to check. Populations of pods normally go up and down, but when they reach plauge proportions you may want to check water quality.
It may also be that you simply don't have the natural preditors to help keep them in check.

My nitrates are 20. Ive been battling to get it down to at least 10 for about 2 and a half weeks. It wont budge. I have a clean up crew in there and they are doing very well. My shrimp has already molted in a week. I checked my water every 2 days. Everything seems good to me.
