Here's my list
-people who vote for someone just because they have an elephant or donkey for a logo
-people who think that politicans actualy give a care about them
-people who think there is a greater purpose for war
-people who critize Bill Clinton for cheating on his wife then support Rudi Gulliani who cheated on his wife while she was on her death bed.
-people who are biased
-people who give no respect to the other party and people who support it
-people who listen to one news source
-people who think the media critizes Republicans 24/7(hate to break it to ya, Republicans are in the White House)(and most "biased" news I've seen talk about pointless things not politics)
-people who hate the player instead of the game
-people who think Democrats are a bunch of young people who aren't intellectual
Post your list. Just needed to get that off my chest

Ya, it's been a stressful week, and I'm getting realy ticked at some people who do most of these things. In fact most of my school does all the things listed below. Realy got me ticked off at them was listening to one of the best songs ever written: Hands Held High-Linkin Park

I'm glad to see someone else mention Giuliani's infidelity. He was married the first time for 14 years and then after several affairs and his wife getting cancer, he had the marriage annulled. Nice guy, huh? Then, he marries again and fools around on her pretty blatantly and before getting a divorce hands her a $250,000 job that someone else had and was told "buh bye." Now he's married again to his nurse when he had prostate cancer. If it wouldn't have been for 9/11, he wouldn't have made it this far. It just boggles the mind how none of this gets talked about by the Republicans but all you ever hear about Bill is what he did to poor Hillary. And yet, here they are still going strong together and not to mention two of the most brilliant minds in this country.

I think some of these things need to be clarified:
*There is a definite difference between the two parties. Chances are, you agree more with one than the other. While it would be great to be able to vote for individuals, just ask Joe Liberman what happens if you don't tow the party line. If you vote for one Democrat you vote for the Democratic agenda.
*If it weren't for "war" we'd be having this discussion in German or Japanese

*An affair is one thing... having an affair in The Oval Office and lying to Congress and the nation about it, while your wife is running around the nation doing the talk shows blaming a "vast right-wing conspircacy" is quite another. And, to be fair, President Clinton has a long track record of borderline abusing women. Like I said, an affair is one thing.... Btw, I'm not a huge fan of Guiliani either, though I'll probably be voting for him.
*Media bias has been proven several times. The latest study, done by Harvard's Shorenstein Center (released Monday) mirrors the Media Research Study done in August. Feel free to read the study for yourself: here

You're right, I am. But Democrat has no meaning to me. Both parties are a bunch of power hungry people who will do anything for a vote.
I don't like to be thought of as a Democrat. I'd much rather appreciate being called an American, if you don't mind.

I would never criticize Bill Clinton for cheating on Hillary. I mean damn, who wouldnt cheat if they were married to that? But come on, Monica? You're the most powerful man on the planet and Monica is the best you can do?
My issue is with Hillary. She is so power hungry she has ignored several affairs. She is the worst possible choice for a president. I can't believe the Democrats are choosing her over Biden or Obama.

That's funny, I was thinkin g the same thing.
Not biased, not vote for the donkey or elephant, not people who hate the player instead of the game, but clearly, within the list of your own pet peeves is contradicting.
Politics... what a never ending useless game anymore

Oh yay, Hiliary in office, an even larger chunk of money out of my paycheck. Hilooray for socialism!!!!
My list is this:
-Absurdly large population of liberals in higher education
-The Youth expecting the same respect/admiration/and "voice" as the elderly, I'm sorry but work for 10 years and then I'll hear/respect your opinion despite parties, votes should seriously be weighted by age
-Liberalism's drives towards socialism, which just doesn't make sense. Lets seek to maximize everyone's personal freedoms, while making sure no gets "left behind" only to have this expense passed on to the taxpayers who then become slaves to labor.
-Progressive Tax system, I'm all for the flat tax

-The Religious Right
-The Obnoxious Liberal
-Arguments sans evidence
-Liberal media (even CNN did a study and found themselves and Fox to be the only ones with an even distribution.....but I would say Fox leans right, and CNN leans left)
-Being a Republican in California, but being essentially non-existant thanks to the way we're districted
-People's unwillingness to go to war for resources (yes, I think a war is more than justified for resources, yes, I'll say it, oil!)
-Legacy voters (people who vote for a party because of their background or location)
-Diane Feinstein
-Barbara Boxer
-Hilary Clinton
-Obama and the fact that most of his votes will be obtained just because he is black, the guy could be running on a confederate ticket and he would still 99.9% of the african american vote
-Al Gore and his "Inconvenient Truth"s, whether or not it exists, don't tell me to recycle when you take a private jet from lecture to lecture
-Unions, is it 1890's London? Are the safety hazards of Aesbestos still not understood? How many union members actually work in a factory or other establishment, out of which the original union movement was founded? (in other words, no one, union or professional is forced to work in unsavory conditions anymore, so why do we still have them?....And people wonder why outsourcing is increasingly popular)
-The Middle East - it was less violent and more peaceful under Imperialism, why shouldn't we return to it?
-Revisionist history - I dare you to go to Jerusalem and start talking about how the Holocaust was exaggerated
-Did I say Hilary Clinton already?
-The fact that the success of the War in Iraq and the War Against Terrorism (though, neither are actually wars, "conflicts" would be the proper term) is incredibly underpublished by both parties.

I third that. I hate it because of the hatred going around, but it is a necessary thing and as much as I want to, I can't avoid it.

I'll grant you that our political system isn't perfect, far from really, but look at the alternatives and I think you will see that we have it good. My choice, at this time, is Fred Thompson. It may change as the process goes.
My problem with the Clinton's is the illegality of their past actions. Bill pardons Hill's brothers after they are convicted of swindling $100,000 from people. Hillary makes hundreds of thousands selling beef futures with inside info. Etc,Etc. When asked if she would open the records that Bill sealed until 2012 she almost flat out said HECK NO! What is being hidden in those e-mails and transcripts? If what is in those is worse than what we already know ...!
