Do you name your fish?

of course. everythings got to have a name. my two clowns are tweedle dee and tweedle dum (don't ask cause i really have no idea). my scooter blenny is fat b*****d. my blue tang is miracle. i still haven't thought of a name for my yellow tang. and i just got my two purple firefish so i haven't named them yet.

I have named my fish as well...
I have:
a damsel named Jesster (named by my cousin Jess)
a clown fish named Penny Wise (the clown from the book IT)
a flame angel named Monty (named for Montegue in Farenheit 451)

Gotta name em, otherwise when they do something that irritates me, they don't think their name is "damnit" when I talk to them

all named by my wife, that is her way of sharing in my hobby.

i used to say i don't name my fish, but sometimes someone suggests a cute name and asks what it really is.. ect..
So...
tang= starburst
hawaiin cleaner= frootlupes
tomato clown= blinky, (after the three eyed fish)

ike and tina, thats funny. it depends on the fish. i had george the grouper, but he had to move on to the lfs. really havent named any of my fish lately though...

i name them after old freinds i grew up with. currently have 3 damsels named dave, danny & jimmy

3 stripes = Fish A and Fish B ... named after my childhood birds, bird A and bird B
