Got a fowlr and some mushrooms and a thing of polyps. The polyps had been opening up good for a while. I did a water change and the arent opening much at all. What would be a good sg for them. All my paramaters are normal minus my sg it is 1.28.. Should I keep it around .25 .26?????

1.028 is probably fine but I can't know for sure unless you also post a temperature. Generally Polyps do great in water that has a Salinity between 35ppt and 37ppt.

Temp is 82 and whats 35ppt 37ppt????
ppt equates roughly to parts per thousand, meaning salinity.
A Specific Gravity of 1.028 at a temp of 82F is a Salinity of about 40ppt so you're pretty high there. I'd suggest lowering the salinity but not quickly. It's not an emergency. High Salinity isn't as bad as a low Salinity for polyps.

I kept mine salinty at 1.028 and test it with a refractometer. My temps stays around 78-80 and havent had any problems. Always have kept my salinty at 1.028.
But if you keep it there you need to make sure you top off daily. With it being that high its easy for it to sky rocket up if not topped off!
