pom-pom xenias

I got some pumping xenias yesterday. When I saw it in the store, it was pulsing quite nicely. I got it home and acclimated it to temp and water. It lays listless in the tank. I moved it to a location where there was good water flow and high so that it was closer to the light. My tank lights are what came with the tank out of the box and might not accomodate corals. Any suggestions?

Xenia is pretty hardy and can even grow in dirty water, so unless the lights are extremely weak, that shouldn't be the problem. In fact, if they are not getting enough light, they will spread up the rocks in search of more. If the water flow is too strong, I have seen them draw up and retreat. I would give them a little more time.

These are in the 30gal. I do have xenias in my 50 gallon, but they don't pulsate. They have gotten pretty tall since I've had them for a little over a month. I'm thinking they would do better if I changed the lights on that tank as well. Was gonna wait till June to do it for both tanks so I can remember the last light change.
