Pond Building

I have been thinking about building a shark pond for awhile now and i would like to know how to build it [indoor]. If there are any large plastic ponds that can be bought that would be great [the largest i have seen is 250].

Rubbermaid makes a 300 gallon Livestock water container. Might work. They're round like what sharks like.

you could keep leopards and smoothhounds in it for a couple years or any small sharks for that matter(bamboo, any cats). i could get you them too. leopards and smoothhounds are cold water though 55-72.

You could keep leopards in there for a year or two with no problems. But I would get some thing with a SA of 60' or larger. They would live longer.

If he got the leopard under 10" i think it would still be under at most 2 feet in 2 years. so i really think 2 years wont have any effect. it is the high temperatures that really effect them.

High temps do efect them, by making them get sick easier. Low oxogan levels are what kill them.

High temperatures will greatly effect there health only over a long period of time and will eventually kill them. Obviously low oxygen will kill them though.

Indoor would be kinda hard, but if you could dig a hole for it outside, the insulation from the dirt would keep it pretty cool.

and then he could spend 2000bucks on a chiller yah thats smart. even if that made any bit of a difference there would be tempereature fluctuations and if you know anything about sharks you would know that they are intollerant of them

Doesnt matter fool, he'll need to get a chiller either way, unless he has a biga22 air con. running 24/7.
And I didnt check to see where he lives.

Don't mess with the tubberware tubs or anything similar. It is real hard to see down in them and they aren't larger than normal tanks. Is this more of something you had in mind?

NIce tank. What are dimensions? What kind of fish? What is the flow rate threw it. Myne is just like yours to the looks of it except myne is plywood.
EG- Theres no need to call me a fool. Im sorry your getting deeply upset because i was right, i didnt mean to offend you. Im pretty sure he could keep a stable temp using heaters. And that all depends on what he wants to keep in there. Ever think about racoons or hawks i wouldnt want a 200 dollar fish getting eaten by one. Bottom line Outdoors is not a smart way to go.
