I have a 75 gal with 70 lb live rock. I have 5 turbo snails , the problem is that they are producing a lot of wast. Has anyone delt with this and what is the best way to keep the tank clean?

I also have this problem, there seems to be alot of waste in my tank, from snails and my mushrooms, I don't have any fish yet. What can we do to get rid of this waste?

I have 3 turbos and they are producing a lot of waste too, but then I got a fire shrimp, emerald crab, and peppermint shrimp and there was a lot less poop. So I think they are either eating it or the snails stopped pooping so much!

I do have a cleaner shrimp, and a sally lightfoot, but they don't seem to do any good on the poop matter.

Any type of Sand Sifting fish do great with keeping the sand bed clean and stirred, they even go up on some of the rocks. I had this problem so I got a Diamondhead Goby and the bed is back to its original state.

I don't think shrimp eat poop, they clean up food scraps and can help with parasites on your fish or aiptasia. Bacteria will work on breaking down poop, but most larger organisms aren't poop eaters. I could be wrong, but if there is something out there eating poop I'm sure everyone would have one, less water changes and stuff to vacuum out.
