Popullation Control

Hello everyone, I was hoping someone could help me out. Two years ago when I set my tank up, I was told by my LFS that I could put mollies in my tank, so I did. Well those little suckers liked my tank so much that they decided to make babies...lots of them. Over the last two years I have given away about 80 mollies to whom ever would take them, I now have 8 or so, but have notice some small ones swimming around. I currently have three Damsels and a valentini puffer. What I am trying to do is rid myself of the mollies by adding some type of aggressive fish that will get along with my others, but what I am not sure. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

how big is the tank?

It is a 65gallon, however I am in the process of putting together a 150 gallon tank

A fuzzy lion would do it. The adults are going to continue to breed though.

many hawk fish take to eating small fish and look pretty nice themselves

I was thinking about this, mollies are brackish fish. Allowing any SW fish to feed on the offspring will cause problems with the SW fish's digestive system. Why not get rid of the females, or the males to stop them from breeding?

That is a thought but what I might do is setup a freshwater tank maybe 15-20 gallon and transfer them back over to fresh and they can breed all they want. I'll just be giving them away a dozen at a time, I thank you for all your help you have been great.

Do mollies change -s-e-x in times of need? I think I remember something about that. I'd look into it before bothering to try and catch those buggers in your live rock. (I could very well be wrong tho...it happens )
