Porcupine puff up

My puffer has now been sucked to my Ph 3 times. All 3 times I found him sucked up to the Ph. Isn't it hard on puffers when they puff up? I have since put a filter around the bottom of my Ph hoping that it will help but he doesnt seem to the brightest fish in the tank as he keeps going back over to ther PH. lmao I know its stressful on them to puff but it still was funny.

I have one puffer and the lfs I go to they told me not to make him puff at all because it is stressful.

thats what I thought!!! I didnt make him do it, he just got sucked up to the PH and before I could get the foam to protect the filter in the Ph he was sucked up again. He seems to be fine but puffed up twice. First time I have seen him puff.

if he is acting fine then he is probably ok. my porky will puff up every now and then just on his own without anything scaring or stressing him. i think he sometimes does it to strech when he wakes up in the afternoon. he also got stuck to one of my power heads when i was cleaning the intake cover. he has always been fine. if he looks ok then i wouldnt worry. just make sure you put the filter back on the ph so that it wont happen again.
