porcupine puffer

The clam is likely to get nibbled on, and the corals, possibly.
Don't think it's a wise thing to add to a reef setup. Cool fish though.

I've got my Porcupine Puffer in a reef setup and doesn't touch a thing. My only concern would be with the clam. He might nibble on it. Puffers are carnivores there for they don't have any interest in corals only inverts, and small fish.

As with every fish, they each have their own temperment. What may apply for a whole genus of fish does not generally apply to each individual fish. My Valentini doesn't bother my zoo's or mushrooms (and didn't bother my star polyps when I had them) however, he did manage to wipe out all of my snails and a chunk of my hermits. He does leave my CBS alone, though.
