don't worry he wasn't stressed out for these photos...usually he rarely puffs and we just happened to have the digital camera standing by and took some shots. he's starting to deflate but his spines are still out pretty good...not something i'd want to swallow

btw i have a question, have you ever had a puffer go after conchs or snails? i'm getting some in and don't want to kill then :-/
they are number one as far as personality goes i wanted a lionfish at first but a 75 gallon is just too much of a squeeze, with a puffer i can have him grow up for awhile before I have to move him or sell him. But they have unparalleled personalities and they are incredibly smart IMO

they LOVE snails
well i got in some turbo snails and some dark reef snails...he's not touched the turbo snails but he just sucked about two of my 150 dark reef snails out of their shell
that answers that question.

I have 2 porcs myself. One puffs on occasion, and the other I've never seen puff at all, not even when I was capturing to move from one tank to another.
