Porky on hunger strike!?

My porky puffer has not eaten anything substantial in a week. I have to hand feed him, as he is blind in one eye from an infection he had about 6 months ago. He is usually a voracious eater, now he justs spits what food I can get into his mouth out. I have tried a variety of foods soaked in garlic juice to no avail. He has no visible signs of illness and water parameters are as follows:
pH-8.3, AM-0, Trites-0, Trates-~20, SPG-1.024, Temp-~80
I have had him for 5 years and can't stand the thought of losing him. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help.
Thanks.

Maybe porky puffers fast in honor of Veterans Day??? Our puffer is doing the same thing as yours Coach!
Our office has a HUGE porky, he's about as big round as a Big Mac. He's usually a pig and we usually feed him frozen shrimp (like the cooked kind humans eat). He hasn't eaten anything for the last 4 days and we're all worried. His eyes look a bit cloudier than usual (can't really see any blue shine in them), but he doesn't have any ick or other visible issues. Although it does look like there's a line on his eyes kinda like a crack, but maybe I just haven't noticed before. We've tried adding garlic to the food and today I tried some squid. He just sits there and doesn't even try to eat. Is it possible that he's gone blind and I need to feed him with a feeding stick?

The eye issue sounds similar to what happened to my guy, (Bacterial infection maybe?), but that was months ago and Puffy is still very active...he just won't eat! Best of luck with your puffer...they are awesome pets.

How did you treat the previous eye infection? And what are you feeding the pork?
Also, how is the pork's teeth? Are they rather long? Notice any sort of distoration around the mouth area?

Previous to the eye infection I did not use garlic, when I noticed the problem I fed garlic soaked food daily and the infection cleared up.
I have not noticed anything abnormal about his mouth. Are you saying that his teeth may have overgrown? I think I recall reading about this before. Will it be obvious if they are and is there a solution to the problem if that is the case?
Thanks.

Missed the second question...sorry. I have been feeding raw squid, octo, shrimp, clams (cooked), mussels (cooked), and krill every other day and I mix up what I give him.
