I just added a royal gramma to my new tank and he is the only fish in there. The temperature ranges form 79-81 and all readings are at 0. Specific gravity is at 1.024. Today when i got home from work my royal gramma had white spots on his tails and fins. I don't know what they are. He is still very active and eating. There is no rubbing on the rocks or any of that behavior. i am attatching a picturre. Please help.

sorry i am having trouble posting a picture. It says it needs to be smaller than 500 * 500. That means nothing to me???

To post a pic, you need to use a program, such as PAINT that comes with Windows, to resize the picture to max 500 by 500 pixils. Anyway, there are lots of pics in the Diseased Fish thread at the top of this forum with fish that have ich.
The treeatment for ich is hyposalinity. Take a look at the Diseased Fish Thread as well as the FAQ Thread for Hyposalinity and ICH topics.
If you need more help, post back.
