possible ick

seen a few spots on my new fairy wrasse. One on fin and one on top fin. been there for a few days and has not changed. The fish is not scratching on anything so I dont think this is ick. can it possibly be sand stuck on the slime coat or can it still be ick without the fish scratching? Other fish seem fine.

Possibly, or my fish have had bubbles stuck on them before, could be that. It looked a lot like ich. I would keep an eye on it, possibly treat your tank for ich (get other opinions before you run out to the LFS though).

its a reef tank, so i would have to qurantine all fish. I do have a qurantine set up but i would have to take everything out to catch them all. I just dont see any scratching from my fish. How can there be ick with no scratching?
