possible mushroom ID please?

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what this is? It's been growing rather slowly in my zoa colony. It has little clear tentacle-like protrusions coming up from the top of it and it's whitish in color with spots.

I think if it were a mushroom it would have a mouth in the center. I can't make one out from the picture. Not sure what it is ...
