Possible New Additions

Hi everyone,
I was thinking about adding a Six-Line Wrasse, Royal Gramma, Bi-color Dottyback, or a Flame Angelfish to my tank. Iv'e kinda eliminated the Flame Angel due to having a Coral Beauty. I was researching the other day and not many reccomend mixing the two. Some have found accomplishment with them together but like they said.. It's a hit or miss, I don't think I would chance it though. Has anyone kept any of these fish I listed or know there temper and there ''ways''? I really don't want to add a trouble maker to my reef!
Thanks!

First of all, hello!
Second of all, I'm a bad person to tell you this since my 72g is too small for some of my own fish but your tank can't handle more then fish that you already have.
You need to upgrade to add more fish.

You already have too much in that tank. A 14g tank is no place for any dwarf angel, let alone two. I highly recommend trading in the Coral Beauty for a smaller, better suited fish.
Six line wrasses and bi color dotty backs have a reputation of being more on the aggressive side. Your safest bet would be the Royal Gramma, but make it that last fish you add and get rid of the angel.

Thanks for the replys!
The Coral Beauty has been removed and I plan on taking out the Chromis (he's a lil aggressive) and adding a Six Line Wrasse, Royal Gramma.
So my stock will be:
Clownfish
Royal Gramma
Six-Line Wrasse

Is it due to them having a similar body shape? Or it's just there nature?

Their nature combined with a smaller tank that doesn't really allow them to seT up their own separate territories. You're safest choice would be to do one or the other, not both.

Watch out for firefish because they tend to adventure out of their tank. Other wise, very pretty. ;)

Which one would you say is the more fussy and aggressive one? Iv'e read that the Gramma is peaceful untill someone enters it's cave or territory. The wrasse from what I read is an active swimmer, checking everything out all the time.

My 6 line seems to be very calm natured and doesn't bother anyone. But fish like that are hit and miss. You may get a good one and may get an aggressive w one. But like you said, he is very active and very fun to watch! I would go with him over the gramma if you do end up choosing just one. And I like firefish as well, and very calm, but can get kinda boring for my taste. Lol they just don't do alot of venturing. They also feel more comfortable in groups and yes they are jumpers. Lol

I hope I get a calm one and not a beast lol! Yeah I plan on adding both fish, Gramma and Sixline.

That's one too many bad notes for me about the Sixline, well what else would you guys suggest for the third fish? Something active and fun.

The other two fish are the Clownfish and a Chromis, right?
I'd go with a small blenny, like a Tail Spot and the Gramma. The gramma will be okay, the six line is a bad idea in that size tank, trust me, I've tried 3 times in my 14G biocube, and each time was a nightmare. I tried babies, adults that came from peaceful tanks, etc, never worked out.
Fish to consider (not all of them):
Clown goby
small blenny such as a tail spot
green banded goby
Rainford's Goby (court jester goby)
Hector's Goby
Firefish (they're known to be jumpers so have a net, or canopy, or eggcrate)

I'm removing the Chromis so it will be just the Clown. My plan was to have the Clownfish, Royal Gramma, and a Six-line Wrasse. With all the bad notes and comments I've seen about the wrasse, I proably won't get it.
So my future stock:
Clownfish
Royal Gramma
The third fish?....

I was going to suggest that you get rid of the chromis

Clownfish
Gramma
Tail Spot Blenny
Greenbanded goby
That would be my list. I might, might, throw in a little clown goby as well.
