possible salt problem

im having a problem with amonnia in my water change tubs.im using ro/di water and kent sea salt.everytime i mix a batch i get .25 ammonia and .05 nitrite.ive tested 3 batches now.

im using red sea marine lab,ive tested my ro/di water before mixing and it is 0 for nitrite and amonia.

hmmmm................i just had a problem with a red sea marine lab......i was using test strips for a while since i just started and before starting corals i ordered the red sea marine lab......and my first time testing it came back saying my ammo was .25, trites were .5 and my trates were like 100......so i assumed that maybe something happened and my tank was cycling again......so i waited it out for the last few weeks....kept testing and getting the same results.....then i got sick of getting the exact same results so i took my water around to 3 LFS and they all told me that my water was fine....no ammo, trites, and low trates..........
i hadn't tested it on newly mixed water........but the test kit definitely had problems....not sure if the test kits bad or if i should just not order anything off the internet anymore....not sure how everything is stored or how long...
