I bought a wet/dry skimmer combo for my 90g fowlr. it was rated for 150g, however I wasn't very impressed, the skimmers that come in the combos at least on mine was junky. I would recommend a hob skimmer and a small fuge. will cost a little more but far worth it.

do you know what brand it was? im thinking if its rated for a tank three times the size of mine even if its not that great for a 150 will be three times better for my 55.....if that makes sense

Hi Jewban. Regarding "overskimming", there's no such thing. You'll find that this particular topic has been argued over for a while. IMO, you CAN'T overskim.
