I have had my tank cycling now for about 2 weeks with sand, 65lbs of mature fiji LR and 6 damsels in my 125G . I've also put in that Stress Zyme bacteria stuff. (i know that might not be the best stuff but its in there now so too late)
Anyways question is. I was talking to my LFS person and he told me my tank might be already cycled.. My Ammonia got as high as 0.25 and not it's back at zero. all others(nitrate and nitrite) did not go up at all. is it possible???
He also told me to overfeed the fish for a week and check my levels and if i did not see a spike in ammonia that my tank is CYCLED!!

do u have any algae growing yet? or any diatom ( brownish/goldenish stuff on the glass or on the substrate? ) 2 weeks sounds a lil too fast to me IMO. If I were you I would let the tank be for at least 1 month , which is still fast , but the tank will be farther in the cycleing process if it is not done yet. Do you have any cleaners? hermit crabs, starfish, snails, or any thing like that? If not you could probably add a few here and there , they are not big enough to put too much stress on the bio-load. The more info you can give on here the more people can help you out.........

If your live rock was saturated with beneficial bacteria from the start then your tank very well could have cycled in less than two weeks. Some tanks that start with cured rock don't even experience a cycle. If you had an ammonia spike then you experienced a cycle. With 6 fish you would have ammonia readings if your tank was not cycled.
