ummm, well ive only been to 2 fishstores in my area. One was World Wide Aquariums, which closed, but wasnt very good anyways. The one i go to now is the Pet and Hobby Shop off of Reynolda Rd. They have really knowledgable employees, and pretty healthy fish. They are a bit pricey though. Their coral selection depends on when you come in. But yes, i have seen a lot of bubble corals, brains, xenia, clams, SPS, shrooms, and they have a huge display tank that has a patch of star polyps that im sure they would frag for you. I have heard there are some good ones in Charlotte and a good one in Kernersville

I have had these for almost a year now. It was about 2 x 4 inches. I recently started using reef chilli that I got off the internet and it finally grew for me and is now about seven eight inches by 5 I am guessing . It covers amost the whole rock that I placed it on.
Oh and they are about half way down in my 55 gal, probably a little more toward the bottom though. I have 2-250 MH Coralvue lights

Here's my green hairy mushroom. It's in my 12 gallon nanocube, with the deluxe lighting, but that's still low light. I keep him at the very top and he's split a couple times since this pic.

Here's a pic of my fuzzy 'shrooms and also a pic of my frogspawn coral...both very cool!! The frogspawn has grown to twice the size in this pic, about the size of a softball now.
