I am about to recieve some pc lights for my tank was hoping to see some pics of tanks that only use PC lighting and what the wattage and other specs are

very healthy tanks guys. they look great. Who say's you need hallides for a beutiful reef tank.

Just a few more...side note, my frogspawn has grown to almost twice the size in the pics..well, now that I look at the pics...ALL my corals are at least twice the size...
...and yes, under pc's!!

this makes me so happy to see such good tanks just runing on pc lighting like rain fish he is only using 130 watts on his 29G im puting 130 wats on my 37 so I feel quite confedent I well be pleased for the time being hey mona what wattage on your tank

72 gallon bow with 48" Coralife 260 watt 2X65 watt 10k and 2X 65 watt actinic with built in moons for their nightlight!!!

wow how do you keep the coraline off your glass my lighting system that i have been using is a wimpy 17 watt 50/50 NO 6500k and i still had coraline grow all over my glass I did not until recently start adding calcium. Good news I was sapose to get my new PC fixture on the 10th of january but I just checked my tracking number and its on route to delvery right now glad Im home sure would not want them to drop it off at my doorstep with no one home yester day I added my secound bio filter and another powerhead a maxi 1200 the water movent in my tank is so awsome. my total gph is now running at 855 for my 37gallon tank but Isurmise that that total water in thier is probaly 33G but not sure so my turover rate is real good. the filtration Im running is the penguin 200 rated up to 50 gallon tanks I have two now so my tank should be ready for some corals. sooner or later Iwould like to convert to a refurigm mainly so I dont have so many things hanging on the side of the tank. but my next big endevor is a protien skimmer but when you are a barista for starbucks you dont have as much cash flow as you would like luckly my wife makes more money than me.
Well if any one else has pics of pc lighting only tanks keep them coming Iwell have to post mine on here after I get it setup.

dreem reef thats a big conch shell in the back of your tank how do you clean that out so it doent acumulate waste. Ithink it gives your tank a nice touch.

just fineshed setting it up well prelininary setup still need to set up timers but looks great the lighting is alot beter than what I had befor
