Only a brittlestar might be suitable. No other star is really going to be a good idea, except for Asterina hitch hikers.

Hey goldenboy - can you post how long you have had that Fromia, tank size and amount of LR? thanks!

I've had that marble star for almost 3 years. It's been with me through my hot summer with no chiller and my wicked ph swings. It's lost a few arms and regrew them. I finally swapped out my ph monitor for a ph controller. Now it should be much happier. I also have a blue linkia (about 6 months) the only problem is it doesn't come out until the lights come on. I have a sandsifting star (probably 2 years) a jewel star (about 1 year) and a serpent star (about 5 years). I also have about 1,000 mini stars

If I were to guess I'd say I have 500+lbs of LR. I made a lot and seeded it with real LR. Now I can't tell which is which.

The LR is the key
I am always waiting to hear how much...because almost invariably, those who have long term success with such stars, have lots and lots of LR.

What kind of brittlestar would you recommend because there are brittlestars that get 8+ inches and those are way to big for a little nano.
