COOL! Hey Sin, those are the little brothers to the one above. It has stretched out to around 6" at one time. They will get bigger. NIce color, though. How come they always look better in others tanks??

Well just got my 1st shroom today. They are blues. Also when i was looking the rock they were on i saw some small zoos is that ok if they are on the same rock?

LittleBuck, as long as they're actually zoos and not Mojano anemones...I got a rock with shrooms and what I thought were zoos on it as well....turn out they were mojano and they started walking around my tank disturbing things. Do a search for them, and if they ARE mojanos, a Little boiling water goes a long way

Hey everyone, these pix are BREATHTAKING, tonight or 2morrow I'll have pix of MY new additions!!!
Have a question tho.....Anyone know why shrooms stretch upward like that? Are they hungry? Are they not getting enough light? Are they tryin to avoid too much current? :notsure:

just looked at some pics of those and it dosent look like anything like that. I will try to take a pic and post it but they are very samll about the size of a q-tip head. so might not come out but i will try

I think they stretch upward to try and make more room for themselves. At least on my rocks they are so crowded they need to do that or they would be covering each other up. The singles I have that have detached and went to another rock lay flat. just my opinion. I like the way they look when they are all streched out sorta like a shroom forest. I wish my true color would come through better. the green splash shrooms are actually very pretty green.

Hmmmm....with the exception of a few pics it seems that photography is the name of the game here.
It's nice to see good photography coupled with rare specimens.
