I have a Kodak Easyshare Z7590 that I am learning to use. I would love to be able to take pics. like these and I think my camera can do it, but I think the operator needs help. Is anyone familiar with this camera and do you have any tips for me? When I put it in macro mode, I hold the camera up to the tank and when I try to zoom in, it just gets blurry. Any suggestions? Thanks

I use a Kodak Easy Share DX 4330. It was not much money. I dont know much about cameras but I never use zoom on the macro setting. I just get close to the subject and a lot of " waiting and waisted shots " to get " a good one ". All tank lights on and normally no flash. A good photo program helps too. See my pics above too.

I think the camera is capable it is just the operator!

Don't "zoom in" when you do macro mode shots, the camera can't focus.

How do you guys manage such sharp close up photos? I use the macro function on my canon digital camera, but it still comes out blurry.

I usually change the auto focus to manual focus then adjust the manual focus while keeping the camera near the tank up close until it focuses. Otherwise, it is hard to do close up shots with having auto focus on because you cant get the camera to focus on what you want to focus on.

How do you get so close to the subject without useing a zoom feature? I mean you would have to be submerged to get most of those shots. Are you taking the photo and then digitally zomming in on a photo program?
