Hey guys! I'm thinking about purchasing a RO/DI unit soon, but I'm a little confused about how to set it up & where to store it, etc. So if you would post a picture of your RO/DI unit, I would appreciate it!
I have a Barracuda it is rated at 100GPD and it really put's out that much, It's really easy to use and never clogs up at all. It's a 4 stage unit. It is a little pricey though.
I have a airwaterice unit that I just store under my kitchen sink. When I use it I just hook it up to the faucet and fill up a 5 gallon bucket and thats it. It works very well.
Coralife Pure Flo II, 4 stages. I have it hooked up to the water supply to my washing machine. I just got a Y connector for the spigot and have one side going to my washer and the other to my RO unit. Waste water drains into the washing machine and then I throw on the spin cycle to drain it.
Speaking OF ro units theres some company on that big auction site (you know the 4 letter fobiden word) atm selling a 87GPD 5 stage system with some fitting and a 4 gal storage tank for bassically $100 + $30 shipping. Thought you guys might be interested. Sell has been on bebay since 2001 and has over 5000 rep and a 99.7% rep at that
hey dragon thats how i have mine hooked up too. but if i have my wastewater drain down the washer drain, just follow the big hose it drains from to where the drain is, and you can avoid having to run a spin cycle real fast.

I'll have to see if I can make that work. My drain is pretty high up on the wall. The washing machine has to pump the water up about 3 feet.
