Here's Roy the trigger and one of his friends, although his best buddy is a regal tang. Roy pulls off algae from the clip and lets the regal eat it.

Great tanks everyone! How do you all keep your FOWLR tanks so pristine and clean?
I have a 75 gal FOWLR tank with a valentini puffer, hippo tang, and picasso trigger. Running a protein skimmer, HOB filter, and 2 powerheads @ 300g/hr each. Probably total about 1,200g/hr flow total.
My tank is COVERED in green algae. Any clean up crew i put in gets eaten. I've been recommended to keep the lights off to kill the algae, but it's no fun having a constantly dark tank. Once I start turning the lights on the algea comes back. My entire tank is filled with green live rock cause it's covered with algae.
Everyone's tanks look BEAUTIFUL - how do you do it?
Oh yeah ..... my reef tank has no algae problem. Go figure.
