the only reason i dont like that is becasue alot of people use post count as a wayt to judge knowledge of a member. i know that silly but people will see oh that guys got 10000 post he must know alot when infact they are hardly out of there cycle .people end up trusting the wrong info that way and the site gets a bad rep.

I totally agree Oceana, its bugs the CRAP out of me as well.

Someone will write the complete history of their tank, all the inhabitants that they've ever kept, name all the people they know, just to ask if frozen food is OK for their fish and he will respond...

He answers their question. It's the only one they ask usually. They do not ask for pros and cons, they simply ask if it's OK and they get their answer. I love those posts from him. Usually after the response, THEN the original poster has a ton of questions.
