potters angel... just picked one up... what are your thoughts on it?????

what do you guys have to say about a potter angel?
it really is one of the best looking angels i have ever seen.
i wasnt aware that it may not be reef safe.... how valid is this idea?
what kind of corals would they pick on?
what would be a way to keep it from not pecking on corals... just make sure its fed well?

i have had some angels. some enjoyed my corals and others didn't. it really depends on what your fish wants to eat. I guess you can't do much now that you have bought it, so I hope everything works out for you.
Also, good luck with the Potters Angel. Beautiful fish, but a tough one to keep. Enjoy it!

I have a flame angel in my 75, and it nips at my bubble coral sometimes. I have apygmy in my 55 and it never bothers anything.

yeah, unfortunately its all hit or miss with most of the dwarfs. Although i've never had any of mine actually eat an entire piece of coral, so to speak, I have had and seen a few nip at some LPS, and zoos. Good luck with the potters, beautiful fish but a little picky and one of the tougher ones to keep. Really the only thing you can do is just to keep it well fed and hope for the best
