This is exactly what Alyssia was talking about. He may pick at your rock for now, but it will not be enough to sustain him in the long run. Eventually he will become immune difficient from lack of proper nutrition. I do wish you and your fish luck though :happyfish

One last question to finish this thread. I put nori down towards the botom of the tank and it seems to be being picked at. I have placed it in the tank before but none of the other fish touched it so I am hoping it is the potters. How long can the Nori stay in the tank (if it is not all eatin) before it needs to be taken out and changed. Does it start to rot and do bad things to the water??????
He's still kickin and fat and I hope he stays that way.
Thanks again to all on this site. You folks are very helpful when it comes to being stressed out about something going on in my tank....
