Potters Wrasse

I just got a potters wrasse from my LFS. From what I have gathered their diet consists of foraminiferans and amphipods. Is there anyway to seed a tank with foraminiferans or amphipods like you would with copepods. I have never seen any foraminiferans or amphipods for sale anywhere. I had a pretty large population of amphipods but he decimated them in the first few days. Has anyone found any other foods that the potters wrasse enjoys? I am thinking about trying some cyclopeeze.
Basically, I am open to any tips or hints to keeping this fish healthy. Here are a few pictures for anyone who has not seen one before. They are quite beautiful.

Anyone know why these are so rare? I had never seen one online or in a store before last week.
Their survival rate is pretty poor and inconsistent, many don't survive the shock of shipping and their needs are not fully understood.

hmmm...thats what I assumed. I just ordered some tigger-pods and artic pods to begin culturing. Hopefully this will be able to sustain this beautiful wrasse. I will keep everyone up to date on how he is doing.

Wow it's nicer than its angel counterpart!
My guess their feeding habits have something to do why we don't see many in the trade.
