IMO, the diet is the problem, feeding just Brine is not enough, they need alot of algea in their diet, best to feed a lot of dry seaweed, called nori strips, ect. and a variety of meaty foods. Brine is the worst choice IMO to keep fish healthy.
You can QT/hypo but should do the Clowns too and let the 30g go without fish so the ick dies out in the main tank.
You may still do the Hypo if you feel you understand how or just leave it in the 30g so theres less stress and feed it properly....
IMO, leaveing it in may be best in your case but your choice....

The parisites attach to the fish untill they mature and then they drop to the sand and produce lavea that attaches to the fish untill they mature and so on...its called the life cycle of ich

Ok Ive had the qt tank running for a week and my salinity is perfect and i just check my ammonia and nitrite. ammonia is at 0.25 and the ammonia is at 0.50 I have had a piece of lr and a damsel in there for almost a week and the water was live from the pet store. the day before last i put a little too much food in there (scooped most out)but that might be one reason for the levels being high. I need to start the meds, do you guys think im safe now? :help:
