Powder Blue Tang & Regal Tang

I'm getting ready to add fish to my 125 gallon tank. Will a powder blue tang and a regal tang get along? Thanks.

YES they will get along!!!And a 125 is not too small for them..The only problem is that these are probably the most sensitive/disease prone of all tangs.So if you add them,be ready for ICH...

125 is fine for both of these. I've had them in a 125 together for over 2 years and all is well. PB and Hippo( regal) are about 6 inches and doing really well. Be sure to quarentine both in seperate tanks and add them together. Good luck!!

On another note.....How long as your tank been up and cycled?? These two fish would not be the first fish I'd put in but rather the last and only after tank has been up and running w/ no problems for at least 5-6 months. My humble 2 cents....form some experience w/ these fish.

125 is not too small a pb needs 100 and yes keep wq very good

Yes, you can get these two tangs in the tank, you could get more, but probably one or two. Many people say you can't mix tangs, but I made a guide on my saltwater fish magazine(online). If you want to read it go in the link in my profile and click on the april issue, it's in there. Good Luck!
