Just wondered if its normal for my PBT to seem to be looking for a way out of my tank 60% of the time. I bought him 2 weeks ago and wondered if he's still not comfortable yet....he eats like a COW. He stays out in the middle of the tank swimming but also swims into the front glass as if trying to hit open ocean. Tank is a 90 reef with only a foxface and diamond goby as companions which all get along great. Picks on my LR and also eats algea off side glasses reguarly....and its not the flashing type of swimming like you see ich infected fish do either just curious if something could be wrong. My overflow box is also a question of mine due to the fact I have a 9.5 mag pump sitting in the floor and my tank is running off of of the 650 gallon mag pump. The return is also the 650 gallon so is that enough turnover rate for a 90gallon or should I buy a 900 gallon overflow for my 9.5 mag?
mine usually does laps swimming to one end then turns around and swims to the other end for hours.
