Powder Brown Tang and Orange Butterfly Fish

I have had a powder brown tang for a couple weeks and today I purchased a Orange Butterfly Fish. The tang has been chasing him all over the tank and wont let him leave the corner. All the sites ive read say they are compatible and even the store said they never had a problem with them together. The store suggested I use a net and not let the tang chase him and after a couple times he should start leaving him alone, they said he was probley just very territorial. I put the net just across the middle of the tank right now and the tang doesnt want to swim over it to chase the butterfly, but this is temp. till I can figure out what to do. Will they get use to each other or is this something thats not going to get better? The tang doesnt bother the clown fish, gobys, blennies or anything in my tank. any suggestions on them getting used to each other?

what size tank???? i've read that you must rearrage rockwork and this will make your tang readjust and not be so territorial.....i have a blue hippo with a yellow and they get along very good together....but after three months of my wife asking for a bannerfish,,,,we bought one and the blue hippo did not leave him alone at all ...after readjusting the rock, the hippo left him alone but the the yellow tang started chasing him....we ended up selling him to a neighbor that has a fake coral setup......hope this helps

Ok so last night I rearranged all the rocks, the whole tank looks different and still this morning the tang is chasing him all over trying to keep him in the corner. any other suggestions?
