Powder Brown Tang sick ?

will try to get a close up picture.
The fish might have ich, or ick, in the beginning stages. I don't know what symptoms to look for but the fish looks different than he was for the past 2 months. slight white dots on the body but its not extreme. I'm not sure to do Hypo or not since I'm not sure if he's sick.

It looks more like skin discoloration rather than dots. More like stress. What are you water readings in your display tank?

Can you take a close look at him and tell us if there actually are white dots on his fins and body? Have you added anything new into the display recently?

Hypo him. Unfortunately, if he was in your display then ich is in there. Any way to remove your fish into the qt or set up a larger one? If you hypo just this fish then you will be sending him back into a tank full of ich. What all is in the display? Do you have corals?
