I bought this Powder Brown Tang about 2 weeks ago and he was doing great till a carpet anenomie I had died and made my nitrite levels go through the roof...he now has all these black patches all in certain areas and a whole bunch of little pin tip size black spots on both sides of his body. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to fix it?
To correct nitrite problem my lfs told me to do:
10 Gal. Water Change (Done)
Use a liquid product called Cycle (Done 1 cap per 10 Gal.)
Use drops called medi-chem (Done 2 Drops per Gal. every 48 hours...right now Monday 3 PM ET is 48 hours going to add 2 dose)
Is this right or should i do other things...its a 40 gal Hex I will Post pic
Also I have noticed on my magnet and other places i have little white circular "barnical" looking things growing. and I also cant stop my darn snails from reproducing I have about 40 babies in my Wetdry...well its not a regular Wetdry but the one with mud and plants. GOOD/BAD?
