power head

Do your fish ever go in front of the power head and swim against the current? I have a couple that do it once in awhile and it reminds of a hamster on a wheel.

My baby Pork likes to lay on top of the powerhead running the UV in its tank. I think it likes the vibration.

Yes... mine do too... I always think of it like being on a treadmill at the gym!

My false percs do it all the time, one of them just lays on top of ot sometimes. Don't hate me, but when he(1") was intoduced my tomato clown(3") almost killed him, so I am wondering if he likes the vibration or if like a boxer he has become shot. He was introduced along time ago, before I knew how bad tomatoes could be, but he didn't bother the first perc. Is my fish just enjoying the vibrations or is he hurt? He will get up and swim around like nothings wrong. He also likes to swim in front of the powerhead more, and has not grown compared to the other one.(maybe he has became a she)

Actually the smaller of the two is the male and the larger a female. My percs sometimes hang out around the powerhead and will occasionally lay on it. The also lay on my mushrooms and sometimes a "pocket" they create in the sand. Usual behavior.

I knew one of them would change --- depending on size, but I was confused about which one it was. Thanks for letting me know "HE" worries me sometimes.
