The smoke detector just made sense to me being a firefighter.
Each one of my tanks has a smoke detector and a dry chem fire extinguisher sitting right next to the stand, free and easy to get to.
I pray that I never or anyone ever has to discharge that in or around my sump let alone my house but if it should ever come to a possible house fire or a system crash I’ll have to take the system crashing
