Powerhead fell

So when I woke up this morning, I walked past my tank to get a drink in the kitchen and BAM- my darn power head slipped off the side of the tank and was hanging there sideways blowing my diamond gobies newly made sand cave to the other side of the tank.....I fixed it but I knew he would be upset- he loves his cave.
Is my tank going to have an ammonia spike? I checked and nothing so far!

It should be fine, if you saw no problem yet, you won't. Whatever got stirred up would have been at its strongest right after the event. The power head slipping is why I love Koralias, they stay put.

Depends on how much the sand was stirred, how deep it was, and how long its been established - Basically all you can do is keep an eye on it, and have a water ready just in case you need to do an emergency change.

It will not cause a spike. After all, the diamond goby sifts through all of your sand.

That is what I thought....he LOVES the sand....but I read somewhere that it can cause a spike so I figured I should ask, lol. Thanks!
