so, i've searched and found some good info, but i was looking for my specific needs and any help you can give me. First the equipment, Fluval 404 ~400gph, Aguaclear 400gph, Maxijet 1200 295gph and a Seio 820gph Aqua remora C skimmer. Tank is a 72g bowfront.
Now i have the fliter on the left side of the tank, 1st, will it be a prob if the tube is behind the rock with the grate towards the bottom? I also have the aquaclear on the bottom shooting towards the middle of the tank, the sand. i plan on placing the seio on the right side behind some rock and shoot towards the front, also on the bottom. third i plan on putting the maxijet on the top, where do i point this and does it sound good? Should I aim the aquaclear behind the rock to make a circular motion back to the fliter? What about the maxi? and where should i place the skimmer? i plan on having simple LPS corals.
Thanks again everyone!!!

you just need to make sure there are no dead spots and that there is a good bit of surface movement and that there are high, med, and low flow places in your tank. If you get some sand and slowly dribble it ack in the tank you can sea where the water goes.
