What kind of powerhead can you use if you don't have and undergravel filter? Do you know of a specific brand name? I have a 55 gallon tank cycling fo fish only.
You can use any brand, some are better then others, IMO I like maxi jet, I would stay away from rio, I have had nothing but bad luck with them, and so have many others.
I have a Marineland Penguin 550 in my tank. I've had this thing in several different tanks for going on 4 years now. Excellent pump, and quite inexpensive.
