powerhead question

In our 55-gallon tank we have two Aquaclear 301 powerheads at the surface--one back left corner and one back right corner. They point to the front center. We also have a small Rio near the botton on the side pointing across the tank. 55 lbs. of live rock. Soft and hard corals.
Would the two surface powerheads be sufficient? Their flow seems to hit the front glass, move down, and disperse.

I think the placement sounds fine but they might be a little underpowered for your setup. Do you have any other circulation?

You might want to consider replacing the 301's with a couple of MaxiJet 1200's. If there's not enough flow detritus can collect on rocks & corals. I use the 802's but they're a bit bulky for a 55. The Maxi's have a smaller profile.
