Powerhead vs Closed Loop

I am interested in upgrading my flow.. The pumps that came with my setup are decent but I dont like the bulkiness that everyone hates. My tank is not drilled and I already have an overflow to a 10 gal. refuge. Would it be beneficial to try a closed loop to get rid of two med. sized ph and two tiny ph out of my tank. IF it is a good idea what all goes into making a closed loop system. Do you have to have another overflow or could I use the one I have now? Possibly a large one and split b/w ph and fuge. I am new to all of this and wanted to see what other people in my boat have done. here is a pic of my tank. I have pretty good plumbing skills just need to know about the overflow and cost part. also what pump to power 3-4 heads at the top of the tank.

for close loop you don't need or use the overflow. you will need to drill the tank with some holes or to put on the top Wave Box Extension and connect outside serious plumbing to strong pump.(it will cost a lot of money) at the other side you can add 2 strong tunze stream ph with controler generate excessively high flow rates in the core area of the water jet. the 6200 model output 5,283 gal/h. they expensive to.and for the return pump water you need just 3x or 5x from your tank size in gallon.even if you have good flow of water in the tank the important things it's not the flow it's the water that circulate into the tank and the detritus collects and needs to be removed by the skimmer.
anyway here some pictures of type of close loop.

How about this idea? I have a fixed thick piece of glass in the center of the tank. There is plenty of room b/w that and the lights for a pump. Could I build my plumbing around and place my flows wherever and then just have a pickup next to the pump? I dont see why I could not do that and just have 1 pump rather than a lot of powerheads. I dont think I would like to get into an elaborate setup like yours due to my tank being up and running already. What size pump would I need for about 6 jets on an 80 gallon tank. I was thking 1 on each end. 2 in front and 2 in back. I was also thinking of moving my skimmer into my fuge. Would that be defeating the purpose of the protein skimmer to not be in the tank?

hey mavgi what kind of plumbing parts did you use on the outlets. It looks like a T and then a slip cap but what did you use for the fittings. If you could send me a detailed list of what you used. I am going to run a setup from my sump like yours.
