Powerhead with lots of bubbles

I just added two Maxi-Jet 600's to my 58g sw tank. I located them in each back corner. There seems to be alot of bubbles which makes it difficult to view the tank. My sig includes what is in my tank. As you can see I only have 1 fish. I'm concerned that it will be difficult to view fish when I add them. Are these supposed to be on all of the time? Is there a setting I should change to eliminate the bubbles?
Thanks for your help.

take out the tube that runs from the top of the power head to out of the water and there should have been a plug that came with the power head to replace that tube

Thanks Steve40. There was a small clear piece of plastic that looks like a plug. I didn't know what to do with that. I bet that is it. So, with that in place it will blow the water out w/o the bubbles?

The same thing happened to me! Just pull out the stupid annoying piece, it should stop spewing out bubbles.

Thanks for all the responses. I took the tubing off and it is working w/o blowing bubbles. I'm a little disappointed in the amount of water it cycles. I thought two 600's would be enough in a 58g but I guess not. I guess I'll upgrade to at least 1 900 in the future.

but , don't you need the bubbles? I would very much like to eliminate the bubbles in my tank, but always understood that it was needed to prevent diseases and airate the tank.

The Maxi Jet 600's are rated at 160gph. I thought by putting two in my 58g that would be enough. Maybe there is some adjustment I need to make to get more flow. When I put my hand in front of them it barely feels like it is pushing any water out. Any suggestions from anyone who owns Maxi Jets?

You don't have to get rid of the 600's...just add a 900. 1 Maxi-jet 900 and 2 600's will turnover the water in your tank nearly 10 times. If you've got a lot of dead spots in the tank maybe a 1200 will be a better choice than the 900.
